Cross-Border-Project between students from Amsterdam & Munich for Schneider Weisse
Students from Amsterdam (AUAS) and Munich University of Applied Sciences working together

Within the bachelor modul “B2B Marketing & Sales Management”, students from Amsterdam (AUAS) and Munich University of Applied Sciences will work in mixed teams on the internationalization B2B sales strategy for Weissbier brewery Schneider Weisse during the summer term.
Schneider Weisse can be seen as the cradle of Bavarian Wheat Beer craftmanship. As Bavaria’s oldest wheat beer brewery with a history of more than 150 years, family-owned Schneider Weisse is today producing and marketing mainly wheat beer to over 50 countries (with more than 60 international Schneider Weisse fan clubs) per year.
On 20th and 21st of April, HM hosted the kick-off of the project when the Amsterdam students visited Munich. We started in the Creative Hall of SCE, where Georg Schneider (family owner in 7th Generation) and Susanne Hecht (Sales Director Export) presented Schneider Weisse as a company and the project tasks. In order to get to know the brand, the brewery and further key contacts, Schneider Weisse invited the six student teams to its premises in Kelheim. Here, we had the chance to deepdive into the heritage and tradition of Schneider Weisse and the Bavarian wheat beer culture and got to learn to know the brewing process in detail.
On behalf of the complete course module, a big thank you to Georg Schneider, Susanne Hecht and the Schneider Weisse team for sponsoring this international project and a memorable time in Munich and Kelheim. We look forward to our conjoint project work and the final presentation in June in Amsterdam.
