As the new students in the Master's in Business Administration, specializing in Digital Technology Management (DTM), are settling in, university staff is preparing to offer most relevant content in their first semester.
In their compulsory law module DTM students will support Master students from HM Department of Computer Science and Mathematics in developing a legally sound AI driven hate speech detector.
To be adequately equipped for this task, they will receive valuable guidance how to leverage large language models for their own work. Law lecturer Henrike Weiden knows from experience: "Dr. Matthias Koch, author of 'Better Decision Making with AI', will amaze us with his creative and skillful handling of LLMs like ChatGPT."
Her advice to the DTM students: "Stay tuned for Matthias's presentation and explore how you can elevate your legal services for the project, ultimately achieving greater impact and effectiveness in future tasks. It is crucial though, that you ensure to meticulously verify every output artificial intelligence systems generate. Together, we will cultivate the necessary skills to excel in these endeavors."
